We are a small, French inspired restaurant in the heart of Virginia. Our name, ‘Près des Prés’ means “near the meadows.” Our name sake is our family home and farm, The Meadows (visit our farm website here).
The owner of Près Des Prés, Andrew Pearson, opened the restaurant in Gordonsville because of his love for the town and its people. This is a family operated establishment so you will find Andrew’s wife Lauren and daughters serving guests some evenings. Our restaurant filled a hole in the town for a more high end and French dining experience.
Chef Stephen Wynn runs our kitchen. He aims our menu to feature seasonal, interesting, French inspired dishes. Chef Wynne’s culinary background includes Social 52 in Richmond and most recently, the Clifton Inn.
